Barbara B Mann is Southwest Florida’s premier entertainment venue. The Operations department is interested in hiring customer-service oriented individuals for numerous part time, seasonal positions. All applicants must be available for weeknights, day and evening weekends (including Sundays), holidays, and occasional daytime weekday shifts.

Events Manager (HIRING - Apply below):
Seasonal/Hourly Position (approximately 20-30 hours/week between December - May)
The Events Manager is required to work daytime, evenings, holidays, and weekends both backstage and front of house as the show schedule dictates. Events Manager oversees the staff on show days. Candidates for this position are required to be extremely organized, have keen attention to detail, and the flexibility to work extended hours. Candidates must have foresight to anticipate and solve problems quickly and assist the Operations Manager with trouble shooting operational and mechanical issues within the venue. At least 2 years of related experience in a management position with related customer service preferred.
Daytime Operations Staff (NOT CURRENTLY HIRING):
9:30AM – 4:30PM Monday through Friday (between November – May)
The Daytime Operations staff stocks supplies in the stands, assists with putting away deliveries, does daily baking, and helps with laundry. Applicants must be 18 years or older, must have reliable transportation.
Events & Operations Staff (HIRING for the 2026-27 Season, Apply Below):
Work in this entry level position includes set up and breakdown of equipment for receptions, merchandise, and crew dining. Other duties include food preparation and assisting with custodial/janitorial duties before, during, and after events. Must commit to a minimum of 3 shifts per week during Broadway & Variety Weeks. Applicants must be 17 years or older, must have reliable transportation and must be able to work late evenings.
Ticket Scanning Staff (HIRING for the 2026-27 Season, Apply Below):
Ticket scanners work at all entrances, greeting patrons, and scanning show tickets pre-show. For shows with intermission, scanners stay and monitor the exit doors. Ticket scanning staff must be able to work at a rapid pace and quickly solve scanner error codes. Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and must commit to 3 shifts per week for both Broadway and Variety weeks as the show schedule dictates.
Backstage Security (HIRING for the 2026-27 Season, Apply Below):
Backstage Security guards work at the backstage security desk and monitor the backstage area, the in-house staff, and touring show personnel. Guards must hold a current Class D (un-armed) security license and must be able to work a flexible schedule that includes day, night, weekend and holiday shifts. Guards must have exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
Concessions Staff (HIRING for the 2026-27 Season, Apply Below):
Concessionaires sell food items, and non-alcoholic beverages. Additional duties include stand cleaning and restocking. Must commit to a minimum of 3 shifts per week for Broadway & Variety weeks as the show schedule dictates. Applicants must be 18 years or older and must be able to manage credit card sales and reconcile a financial statement at the end of each shift.
Bartender (HIRING for the 2026-27 Season, Apply Below):
Bartenders work in the lobby and President’s Club bars selling alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and snacks. Additional duties include stand cleaning and restocking. Must commit to a minimum of 3 shifts per week for Broadway & Variety weeks as the show schedule dictates. Applicants must be 18 years or older, have at least 2 years active bartender experience, and must be able to manage credit card sales and reconcile a financial statement at the end of each shift.
VIP Host/Hostess (HIRING for the 2026-27 Season, Apply Below):
Hosts and Hostesses work in the President’s Club, engaging with the members, setting up snacks, assisting the venue’s preferred caterer with set up, and completing post show cleanup. Hosts/Hostesses must commit to a minimum of 3 shifts per week for both Broadway and Variety weeks as the show schedule dictates.
