Get ready for an unforgettable night of laughter, stories, and music when the legendary Vicki Lawrence takes the stage with her hit production, Vicki Lawrence & Mama: A Two-Woman Show!
Vicki is one of the most beloved entertainers of our time - a multi-talented actress, comedian, and singer who has been delighting audiences for more than 50 years. She rose to fame on The Carol Burnett Show, where she became a household name creating unforgettable characters, including the sharp-tongued Thelma Harper - better known as “Mama.” Mama went on to star in the hit sitcom Mama’s Family, a show that continues to entertain fans in reruns to this day.
In her live appearances, Lawrence brings the best of both worlds to the stage. Act One features Vicki sharing hilarious stories, career highlights, and music - including her #1 hit, “The Night the Lights Went Out in Georgia.” Act Two turns the spotlight on Mama herself, as the beloved character unleashes her signature sass and wisdom in a laugh-filled set you won’t want to miss.
Over the course of her career, Lawrence has earned an Emmy Award, multiple Golden Globe nominations, and acclaim on stage and screen. She has hosted her own talk show (Vicki!), the game show Win, Lose or Draw, and appeared in numerous productions including Hello, Dolly!, Annie Get Your Gun and more. More recently, she co-starred in FOX’s hit comedy The Cool Kids, proving her comedy chops are as sharp as ever.
But it’s on stage - face to face with her fans - where Vicki Lawrence truly shines. With her quick wit, infectious humor, and that unmistakable Mama attitude, she creates a night of pure fun that leaves audiences laughing long after the curtain comes down.
Don’t miss your chance to spend an evening with one of comedy’s true greats. Vicki Lawrence & Mama: A Two-Woman Show is more than a performance - it’s a celebration of a remarkable career, an iconic character, and the reminder that, as Vicki herself says, “Life is much too serious to be taken seriously.”
