Richard Nader’s Doo Wop & Rock n’  Roll 

Relive the good times on Friday March 8, 2013 at 8 PM   with an all-star line-up of Doo Wop and Rock & Roll legends, including Gene Chandler (“Duke Of Earl”, “Nothing Can Stop Me” “Groovy Situation”).  As Bob Costa said at the 2012 Olympics, England isn’t the only country who has their Duke of Earl, we in America have our own.  Chandler, who wrote the lyrics to the Grammy Hall of Fame winner “Duke Of Earl”, still performs with his top hat and cape.  Kenny Vance and The Planotones ( “Cara Mia”, Looking For An Echo”  “Come A Little Bit Closer”, ”Only In America” )  Vance co-founder of Jay and The Americans,  has been a music director for Saturday Night Live, and appeared in several Woody Allen movies. Tommy Mara and The Crests    ("Sixteen Candles", “Step By Step”, “The Angels Listened In” ). Mara, who sings from his heart, was dubbed by Johnny Maestro as the Pavarotti of Doo Wop.  Thunder, close friends Jackie Wilson,  toured with  many  of the great pioneers of Rock & Roll including The Supremes, Sam Cooke, and Jimi Hendrix.  Stroll down memory lane and enjoy a night of tight harmonies with many of your favorite songs from the Sixties.
